    Numerical analysis

    A rocket is launched from the ground. Its acceleration (a) is registered during the first 60 seconds and is given by

    t(sec) : 0 10 20 30 40 50 60
    a(m/sec^2):30.00 31.53 33.40 35.47 37.75 40.33 43.25
    Find the velocity of the rocket at the end of the 60th second.

    Well the velocity is:

    v(t)=\int_0^t a(\xi) \; d\xi

    where a(t) is the acceleration at time t. So you want:

    v(60)=\int_0^{60} a(\xi) \; d\xi

    Now use whatever method you have been taught to evaluate this numerically using h=10 s
