Does anyone have any book recommendations for someone with a very high aptitude, but with no formal education in calculus, number theory and other higher mathematics?
I enjoyed reading "The Heart of Mathematics" by Burger et. al. (My copy is the 2nd edition, but I see there is now a 3rd edition out.) It's described as a book on mathematics for non-mathematicians.Quote:
