Complex graphing
Hi!
I read about complex graphs in google and the result actually seems interesting, but I can't seem to understand them...
As far as I understood then colors are simply to better understand, but I can't seem to understand how the "null" points form and where.
Can someone please point to a good start for these things?
Also can someone recommend a easy-to-use application for drawing these graphs?

Well ok, that won't be a problem to find a graphing application, I did manage to find one good that allows me draw the basics, but still - I can't understand them.
For example, f(x) = x^2 and f(z) = z^2
f(x) goes like a hyperbolic function should be, but f(z) goes like some inverss modolus function (|x^2|) so I can't seem to figure it out.
