Thread: Seed of Life

Here is an interesting function I conjured up for the "Seed of Life":

f(x,y)=(x^2+y^2-1)((x-1)^2+y^2-1)((x-.5)^2+(y-.866)^2-1)
((x+.5)^2+(y-.866)^2-1)((x+1)^2+y^2-1)
((x+.5)^2+(y+.866)^2-1)((x-.5)^2+(y+.866)^2-1)

f(x,y)=0 is the implicit function

The "implicit function plugin" at www.gcalc.net generated the graph. I eliminated the grids, axes, and labels so that the pattern can be seen more clearly. Any and all comments are welcome.
