    Waves

The period of a wave is the length of time it takes for a wave to pass a point.Normal ocean waves have a period of 10 seconds. This means that itis 10 seconds between one wave hitting the beach and the next wae hitting the beach. How long does if take for the five normal ocean waves to hit the beach ?

Thank you if you can answer it Chhoeuk

    Time from 1st to 2nd =10s
    time from 2nd to 3rd =10s
    time from 3nd to 4rd =10s
    time from 4nd to 5rd =10s

    Therefore time from 1st to 5th = 4*10=40 seconds
