Hello everybody, I would be very grateful to get some help on finding the answer to this question. It is for my business project. I think that I found all the population numbers that I need to answer it, but can't figure out how to get the answer to this. If I need more numbers than this to solve it, I apologize, I am really not too good at solving math problems. (Wink)
**What is the population of hard of hearing people in the town of Ajax (Located in the province of Ontario, in Canada)?
I researched the following statistics:
*Population of Ontario: 11410046
*Population of Hard of Hearing in Ontario: 1141005
*Population of Ajax: 93104
...Sorry I think I posted this in the wrong forum, this would definitely belong in pre-university math, forgive my ignorance, I think I figured it out too as simple algebra (this is definitely not university math lol) but I am not sure
From these figures we see that allegedly 10% of the population of Ontario are hard-of-hearing presumably, you are supposed to conclude that 10% of the population of Ajax are hard-of-hearing.
