Differential Calculus
Hey guys, I need an answer to this by tomorrow. I need to know the answer to this question and the working out of it.
Thanks in advance :)
(a) Find dy/dx if y = 5x^-1/4
(b) (i) Find the equation of the tangent to the curve
y = x^2 - 5x + 7
at the point (1,3)
(ii) Hence find the area of the triangle formed by this tangent, the x axis and the y axis.

you duno how to do the first one?
bi) use dy/dx to find the tangent then sub x=1,y=3 into the equation to find the equation or c of the y=mx+c.
