to a)

Re-write the RHS:

$5^{3x+1} = \dfrac{5^3 \cdot 125^4}{\sqrt{625}}=\dfrac{5^3 \cdot (5^3)^4}{(5^4)^{\frac12}} = 5^{3+12-2}$

Two powers with the same base are equal if the exponents are equal too.

Solve for x.
Spoiler:
I've got x = 4

Please don't post more than three questions in a thread. Otherwise the thread can get convoluted and difficult to follow. Start new threads as necessary for remaining questions. eg. If you have five questions, post three of them in one thread and start a new thread for the remaining two etc.

And if the question has more than two parts to it, it is best to post only that question and its parts in the thread and start a new thread for other questions.

And please type them rather than attaching them as a word file.
