hi this is my question:

Ali has 12% of 350kg of apples, James had 13% of left over. Helen and Jack divided the remaining in ratio of 2:3.

how many kg of apples each person had?
write in form of indices
first of all i found out ali has 42kg of apples and james has 40.3kg of apples.

i don't know what to do on the rest, can anyone help please?

James had 13% of left over=13% of 308 = 40.04 kg or 40 kg 40 g
Helen and Jack divided the remaining (267.96 kg) in ratio of 2:3
therefore Helen got

how did u get james having 40.04 i got 40.3

there is any mistake in your calculations

james had 13% of left over(350-40=308 apples)=13% of 308 = 40.04 kg or 40 kg 40 g

oh ye sorry i just saw my mistake, i understand now, i think, if i have any problems i will tell u on here in the next 15 minutes

i need to write how many kg of apples each person had in form of indecies

how would i write how many kg of apples each person has in indices???
