five six-sided dice used as a poker hand
Okay, I am not a math guy-I have a painting BA, so cut me some slack as I butcher the whole math theories trying to look like I know something.
My friends and I were working out a dice game based on the common six-sided die, trying to apply the same ranking system as poker. I totally disagreed with them that the ranking system could really be applicable. The way I figure the statistics the ranking should be
1,2,3,4,5-greater
Five of a kind-hightest number wins
Full house 3 of a kind plus a pair
Four of a kind
Three of a kind
Two pair
Pair
I am I out of step here?

Let me know-thanks
