    Fahrenheit and Celsius conversion

    Hey, can someone help me with this problem, I have no idea what to do. Thanks!

    At what temperatures will the readings on the Fahrenheit and Celsius thermometers be the same?

    I set up a formula and solve for x but I got a wrong answer.

    C=\frac{5(F - 32)}{9}.

    Substitute C = F and solve for F.

    Chemistry

    So...
    F= 1.8(C) +32
    F = (1.8(5(F-32)/9) + 32
    = 76
    I believed I did this wrong. Im still very confuse. Can u tell me what I did wrong.

    F = 1.8F + 32

    subtract 1.8F from both sides ...

    -.8F = 32

    F = \frac{32}{-0.8} = -40
