Red face Determine Positions of each in each event

4 girls participated in 3events, the Beam, the Floor and the vault. B came 3rd on the Beam .The girl who came 2nd in the beam, won the Floor event. The girl who came 2nd on the floor, won the Vault. A beat C in every event. The girl who won the Beam came 2nd on the Vault. D came last in the Beam. Determine Positions of each in each event.

    ......Beam..Floor..Vault
    A _________________
    B _________________
    C _________________
    D _________________

    Soution:

B 3 rd on Beam event.

A beat C in every event.

    D was last in Beam.

    First Beam solution.

    Beam
    A 1
    B 3
    C 2 (since A beat C in every event)
D 4 (since D came last in Beam event, hence A-1 and C-2nd)

Now, i think the constraints are unable to comply with the requirements given. hence probably question is wrong??

    Wot do u think??

For the Beam, your list complies with the statements given.
    A 1
    B 3
    C 2
    D 4
    However,
The girl who came 2nd in the beam, won the Floor event.
    contradicts
A beat C in every event.
    hence probably question is wrong??
