1. ## Cross correlation

Hi ,

I have [B]
x[t_]:=[1-t]*
P[t-0.5] and
P[t_]:=\[Piecewise]{
{1, Abs[t]
£0.5},
{0, Abs[t]
³0.5}

}
when P represents the Rectangle Function .

In the attached photo you can see the system .
y[t_]:=x[t]+a*n[t];

and I need to find the cross-corrleation integral (when a=0) of
R_xy
Integral : x(t+taw)*y(t)dt , between (-inf,inf)
and because a=0 , y(t)=x(t-T0)=x(t-4) , so

R_xy
integral : x(t+taw)*x(t-4) , between (-inf,inf)

But I'm having trouble finding out the limits of Taw , meaning the limits of the integral.
hints maybe ? thanks in advance !!

2. BTW , I'm sorry but I tried to copy paste from Mathematica so
it would be easier to understand , but the Forum's editor wouldn't let me
present if as it should have been .
