Hello - Matlab question
hey fellas.. greetings from Kuwait.
I need a little help. I'm really new to matlab. just started today, actually.
here's what I need to do.
1- Define a variable and assign to it the the value from 0 to positive infinity, say x.
2- Do some calculations including that variable, and I want the answers to be in terms of that variable, x. calculations include integration, inverse laplace transfer, and other things.
Now I've been searching around and reading/watching tutorials today and I've figured out how to do the operations I need to do. All that's missing is how to do them and find the answers in terms of that variable, and how to define the variable in the first place.
p.s: I don't know about your home work help policy, but I assure you I've done my best. I'm not a math major, and I've never been obliged to use Matlab until today. I've never had any matlab training, but I've done a great job so far today learning the basics. I just couldn't figure out this one thing. In fact, I don't even know if it's possible. so I appreciate any help.
1. Fire up Matlab (wait 10 minutes for this to happen)

See attachment (which is a FreeMat session rather than Matlab, but it is more or less the same)
