Thread: Assignments

Hi there,

i am a engineering student so have to write up alot of assignments. I would like to do this electronically for tidyness. Thing is when it comes to using word to make equations and such (Microsoft Equation 3.0), its rather slow going.

Is there any software out there which makes this process quicker ?

The real options appear to me MathType (which the Office equation editor was based on) or LaTeX which is a Math type setting system (but fiddly to install)
