Thread: Fourth Root using Maple

I'm using maple right now to do integrations, however I'm stuck on a problem because I don't know the command for writing the 4th root of (1+x^2). I know sqrt is square root, but how do I write 4th root. If you can help, I highly appreciate it.

Remember that

so for the fourth root, you can write : (1+x^2)^(1/4)
