It's actually question #1. I'm not exactly sure how to go about to prove the answer to the questions by using Maple as an example. I know how to use Plot Builder, but what exactly would you insert in order to prove the statements true?

i guess you just need to use Maple to show examples. as far as answering the questions themselves, it requires math knowledge and not knowledge of Maple.

the answer to (a) is no, can you think of an example. if you can, then use Maple to graph it and show that the answer is no.

(b) the answer is yes. i leave it to you to come up with an example.

(c) the answer is no. i leave it to you to explain why

(d) consider the definition of "horizontal asymptote." based on the definition, how many H.A. is it possible to have?

since this is an assignment, i cannot really help you more than i already have, at least not until you put in some work of your own. think about these problems and get back to me

For w/e reason, this jogged my memory. I know the concept and knew the answers, I just didn't know how to exactly prove it in Maple. But I remember the correct input sequence now. Thank you!
