If you have 2 one variable polynomials you want to add, subtract, or multiply, and see the math work behind it, or one polynomial you want to simplify by like terms, I've created this calculator for you. Each term box can handle 75 characters. I can expand that if somebody feels the need.
Essentially, terms with powers need to be entered like 2x^2. See instruction link at the top of the page. Each operation will take you through the math work to derive the terms, and then show the resulting interim steps.
I've done much testing on this, but please notify me of errors or changes you'd like to see. It is searchable by polynomial, algebra, add, subtract, multiply. Enjoy:
Well done, this is pretty good! (Clapping)

Later this summer, I'll build more expansions as well as outside constant multipliers.
Let me know if you have enhancement requests or updates.
First, for the above post, the binomial expansions now take an outside multiplier constant and will use that in the expansion.
Secondly, polynomial expansion with our without outside constants are now available.
See instructions link for more details.
The calculator will expand the term first if necessary, and then show you the addition/subtraction/multiplication math second after expansion.
For polynomial expansions, the calculator will provide a link in another window to see the math for each interim step of multiplication. I did this so the page would not crowd up with many lines of math before getting to the actual operation that you request.
Let me know if you have questions or enhancmenents.
