    Maple 11

    Ok, I am brand new to Maple 11. I have a list of 20 questions to put into this program such as (2x-9)(5x+7) When I put this into maple it keeps telling me error. Can someone help me with this program? I've tried to mess with it for hours and it's getting stressful

    Maple is really picky about including operators

    your input should look like

    (2*x-9)*(5*x+7);

    Can you explain to me everything else in that picture. Why is there a less than sign?

    the red greater than sign is just a command prompt. it means Maple is ready to accept commands.
