    TVM feature of a graphing calculator.?

    Athe end of each month 400$ is put into an account that pays 6% compounded semi-annually. Using your graphing calculator, determine how much the account will have after 25 years by filling in the display.

    N = 300.00
    I% = 6.00
    PV = 0.00
    PMT = -400.00
    FV = 274076.94
    P/Y = 12.00
    C/Y = 2.00

    would N be 300? because its 300 months and each month 400 is added? If so, would the future value of $ 274076.94 be correct? (AFTER 25 YEARS)

    On the Ti-83, N is the number of compounding periods, so N would be 50. I expect its probably the same on your calculator.
