Hi,

I am trying to program in Matlab and am having a problem. My problem is I have a bunch of 3D coordinates for sources and receivers. I need to find a way to find the intersection point between a line that passes from source to receiver with a 3D grid.

I am not even sure what the best way to go about this is anyone have any ideas

Not sure what you mean, the probability that a line joining a pair of random
points intersecting a 3D grid must be 0.

The best way would be to have the functions of the straight lines, say
z = f(x,y)
then have MATLAB solve the system.
