Writing a program in MATLAB

Hey guys.

I need to compute **and print** the results for

$\displaystyle h(x)=(x-1)^8$

at all 101 of the points

$\displaystyle x=0.99,0.99+(.002),0.99+2(.002),\cdots,0.99+100(.0 02)$.

Unfortunately, I just started using MATLAB this morning. I've certainly never written a "program" in MATLAB, nor do I know what one would even look like. While I realize that this newbie-ish question must be annoying, I'm at a loss to figure out where to start, so I thought I'd take a stab on these forums, in case anyone has some extra time and is willing to lend a hand.

Alternatively, if anyone has a link to a sample program similar to this one, that should be helpful enough to get me going.
