Greetings,
While I was working on some textbook exercises involving use of computer graphing utilities I realised that Maple 14 was unable to display the graph of x*sin(1/x) correctly when zoomed in. However, this was not the case in Microsoft Mathematics which is a free software. Am I doing something wrong, or is this behaviour normal? The distortion begins when the graph is zoomed in Maple 14. I am using a 32-bit version of Maple on a 64-bit machine. May this cause problems? I am adding the screenshots, therefore you can see what is going on exactly. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
