    Program to plot continuous-time signals (Signals and systems)

    Plot the signal: x(t) = u(t + 1) - 2u(t -1) + u(t - 3)

    u(t) in Signals and systems is known as the unit ramp function (refer to attachment).

    Besides MATLAB, what other free math programs are available, which would allow me to plot x(t)?

    The Matlab clones: Octave, Freemat, Scilab, Yorick, ...
