MS-word has an equation editor which should do the trick.
Once you have opened word goto Tools>Customise>Insert> Scroll down and you will see equation edittor.
I have written reports using this many times.
My friends and I are doing a math comp. tomorrow, and I just thought about how we were going to write up the report. The website states that publicly accessible resources must be used and I'm assuming the Office suite is included in this, but I'm wondering if this will suit well for symbols, (as I have never used it towards that purpose) or whether I should look for something else. I imagine excel should work fine for any graphs I may choose to use, but for the rest I'm not so sure. Thanks in advance.
