How to change the numerical boundary in Matlab?

Hi all,

It seems Matlab always produces infinity for the values larger than 1E+307 and produces 0 for the values smaller than 1E-307. Does anybody know how to extend this range and let it produce the number rather than infinity? such as gamma(500).

Any suggestions are very appreciated.

Use the symbolic processor or reformulate your problem to avoid out of range values
