Working on sequences and summations and need some help badly. But I don't want to do it with confusing jargon trying to use a regular keyboard, can someone suggest a good editor, or is there a link somewhere in the forum for such a thing?
Thanks and sorry, will post for help when I fix that. :)
You can consider an add-on for MSWord: Design Science - How Science Communicates.
As standalone word processor there is EXP: The Scientific Word Processor.
Karl Smith says he wrote over fifty textbooks using it.
I have not tried it, but there is LyX, a free word processor based on LaTeX. So you should be at least able to typeset a formula using buttons, etc., and then convert it to LaTeX and post it in this forum.
I would recomend LyX as well, but I'm not sure its the sort of thing the OP is looking for
