    Derive 6 or Ti89 Sum or Product terms

    Hi People

    I search a method for expand all terms of Sum or Product in Derive 6

    example :

    \sum_{i=1}^{10} i^2 = 385 not this

    \sum_{i=1}^{10} i^2 = 1+4+9+... <-- I need this !

    what I must try ? Thanks.

    Firing up the old T2110 which has Derive 5 on it, it seems you should just simplify the \sum_{i=1}^{10}i^2 expression rather than expand it which appears to be what you have done.
