Question implicitplot command in Maple 13.0

Hi all. Look at strange curve behavior in approximation near asymptote.
plot command plotting curve OK of course. But i wanna use implicitplot command anyway. I want to know:
    1. Why implicitplot plotting this so strange kind?
    2. How can i avoid this using implicitplot anyway?
    Tnx to all

Do you mean why is there no asymptote or why does the curve cross at 0.25?

There is no asymptote since implicit plot ignores discontinuities and interpolates a rough result instead.

If you want to know why it crosses at 0.25 I think it's because of this rather odd result that you can show...

    \sum_{n=1}^{\infty} (-1)^{n-1} n = 0.25

I think it is related to that somehow.
