    taylor & Maclourin series for a symbolic function IN M-file?

    hey guys
    can anyone help me with this problem ?
    i want to compute a both taylor & maclourin series (10 terms for each one) for a symbolic function that it get from input.

    I can't test this here but create a script .m file:

    Code:
    a=0;  % point about which to do expansion a=0 give McLaurin
    syms x
    ff=input('function definition (with x as the variable):','s');
    tt=taylor(ff,10,x,a)
