matlab - plotting specific values on the same original graph

    Hello,

    I'm quite new to matlab
I have just successfully created a plot of acceleration vs time.
Now i was ask to label the points where a is greater than a specific value.
ie. label with black dots where a is greater than 9.8

so can anyone tell me how do you do this on the same plot as the original graph
