    MATLAB Command Window cursor

Is there a way to make the cursor in the command window be placed somewhere in the middle? Or let me scroll downwards beyond where the cursor is?

When you first open up MATLAB, the cursor is near the top but as you type things in and get results, it'll reach the bottom of the screen in no time. So after a few calculations, that's the default place for the cursor.

It'd be nice if I can keep on scrolling into blank space.

Makes no sense. Why have a permanent slice of white space at the bottom of the command window? You will end up not using the available spece effectivly.

Because I have to focus more attention at the bottom of the screen instead of at the center since that's where the cursor is at.

and that is a problem because ...

(shrink the window and move it to the top of the screen)
