John has 3 unique coins such that getting head from them is 1/100, 2/100 & 3/100 respectively. If he flips each of the 3 coins once, what is the probability of getting at least 1 head.

Getting at least one head means that you will not get 3 tails.
P(3Tails) = 0.99x0.98x0.97=0.941
Therefore P( at least one H) =1-0.941=0.059

I am not sure,only trying... probability is the the most confusing part of math...do you have the answer?

probability of getting tail from first coin=1-1/100=99/100
probability of getting tail from first coin=1-2/100=98/100
probability of getting tail from first coin=1-3/100=97/100

probability of getting all tails=99/100*98/100*97/100=941094/1000000
probability of getting at least one heads=1-941094/1000000=29453/500000 which is roughly 5.890% chance...
