Thread: can anyone solve this 4x4 math puzzle?

Yea, I need help solving this puzzle. I uploaded it through the attachments. Check it out, and let me know.

some more clues to get you going:

1) either Justin or Lilliana was born on January 28th, from clue (5). but since the person who received the juice press was born before Justin (from (8)), Lilliana was born on January 28th. this means Justin received the dining table.

2) from (2) & (6) together, we see Mrs. Smith's student was not born on March 27th, nor on August 3rd (from (9)). from (7) we see that Mrs. Smith's student cannot be the one with the last birthday, so Mrs. Smith's student is Lilliana.

3) from (3), we see the person who received the juice press wasn't born on March 27th. from (8) we see that the person who received the juice press wasn't born on September 15th. from (1) and (9) together, we see that the person who received the juice press wasn't born on August 3rd, thus Lilliana received the juice press.

since you have already deduced Emmanuel did not receive the cutlery (presumably from (3) and (4)), he must have received the coffee maker. this should go a long ways towards completing the puzzle.
