Hello, KayPee!

Quote:

The numbers in the brackets follow the same pattern: .[2, 6, 24] .[3, 2, 15] .[7, 5, X]

Find the value of X.

The pattern seems to be: . $[a,\,b,\,3(a+b)]$

Therefore: . $[7,\,5,\,36]$

I can't be certain but I suspect Soroban tried a number of calculations until one worked.
