    LOgic Question 0n Measurements

One container has 28 kilograms of flour and another has 4 kilograms.
How many kilograms must be taken from one container, so each has an equal amount of flour?

    a)4

    b)12

    c)16

    d)24

I thought the answer must be be d)24-I was thing we collect 24kg of flour from the first container both containers will have the same quantity of 4kg.

The text I am using says I am wrong(no explanation)

    Anyone sides with my answer?

    Thanks

The way you posted this makes so vague.
Lets assume the two containers are of equal size.
So we re removing kg from one container and putting them into the other.

So here is a hint: \frac{28+4}{2}=16.
NOTE that the answer is NOT 16.

The answer must be 12 because taken 12 kg from the first container leaves that with 16kg and we can add the 12kg taken from that container and add it to the second so that they both will have 16kg.
