    Which symbol appears next?

Hey guys! My friend found these off a site (I'll have to ask him where it came from later). Anywho, hopefully it doesn't involve too much math, or else that'd be kind of embarassing on my part.

Anyways, the directions are pretty simple. You have to find the missing symbol based on patterns. Here are 9 to begin with.

    Enjoy guys and girls!

Could you please check your post code?

I'm not seeing any of the images on the page, and having to open them up on separate tabs is kind of messing with my pattern-finding mojo.

    1. the next image is #2 (in each row, the colored segments separate by one inteveral in opposite directions as you go left to right)
    2. the next image is #1 (in each row, the first image is overlapped with a rotated copy, then the original removed).
    3. i got nothin'
4.the next image is #6 (we have 3 basic outlines, trapezoidal, square, and square with a curved bottom. 2 of the shapes have a full top, open top and partially open top. the missing shape is trapezoidal with a partially open top)
    5. my best guess is #2, but i cannot fully justify my answer.
