You call these letter problems or cryptarithmetics?
    Is that Math?

Anyway, by trial and error, I got
    -----,VW
    -...*-,GT
    _________
    -----IW
    ---VW
    _________
    ---TVW

    -----,25
    -...*-,13
    _________
    -----75
    ---25
    _________
    ---325

    Or, G=1, T=3, V=2, W=5, and I=7.

Ist to get is G=1, because G*VW = VW.

    Then, by trial and error, T*W could be 6*2, 6*4, 6*8, 3*5, 7*5, or 9*5
    That is, W is either 2, 4, or 8 if T=6. Or, W=5 if T is either 3, 7, or 9.
    Blah, blah, blah,...

I don't like this kind of Math---if this were Math. I don't go for too much trial and error. It is only guessing, or hit-or-miss. This is computer stuff, spreadsheet stuff, number crunching.
I like Math that is systematic--one thing leads to another, with no too much repititions.
Repititions, number-crunching, and no thinking is mechanical only. For computers only.
