    This time: Father and son

    Hello,

In one year a father will be 100 times as old as his son.
In nine years he will be only 4 times as old as his son.

    What's daddy doin'?

    Greetings

    Hello, earboth!

I've heard a slightly different version.
    I think it's funnier . . . it caught me completely off-guard.

In one year a mother will be 100 times as old as her son.

    Where's the father?

    Hello, Soroban,

it seems to me as if we're talking about the same family.

But you're right: Your version is much more surprising, so - with your permission - I would like to use your text.

    Thanks for the modified problem.

    Best wishes.
