    Logical Reasoning Question

Will anyone be kind enough to help me comprehend the Questions 46 and 47 in the attached (Bitmap image) question below:

    I attempted Question 45:

I multiplied the number of larger boxes for each ship type by 4 and attempted to subtract 12 from each.

I deduced that the Navy Ship can carry 12 smaller boxes with the least amount of room left over:

    5 x 4 = 20 - 12 = 8-room left over in terms of smaller boxes)

    Hi KayPee!

Question 46: To transport 72 smaller boxes, you need to have space for 18 large boxes.
Since you're not supposed to have space left, can you find a combination of ships that together carry exactly 18 large boxes?

Question 47: You need 28/4=7 large boxes.
Which combinations of ships can you find that carry at least 7 boxes?
