Logical Reasoning Question

**Will anyone be kind enough to help me comprehend the Questions 46 and 47 in the attached (Bitmap image) question below:**

**I attempted Question 45**:

I multiplied the number of larger boxes for each ship type by 4 and attempted to subtract 12 from each.

I deduced that the **Navy Ship** can carry 12 smaller boxes with the least amount of room left over:

5 x 4 = 20 - 12 = 8-room left over in terms of smaller boxes)

Hi KayPee! :)

Question 46: To transport 72 smaller boxes, you need to have space for 18 large boxes.

Since you're not supposed to have space left, can you find a combination of ships that together carry exactly 18 large boxes?

Question 47: You need 28/4=7 large boxes.

Which combinations of ships can you find that carry at least 7 boxes?

Re: Logical Reasoning Question

So for Question 46 is the answer 3?

since:

Tanker-2

Tug Boat-10

Navy Ship-5

Sail Boat-1

OR

Tanker-2

Submarine-15

Sail Boat-1

For Q.47:

Tanker-2 Boxes and Navy Ship-5 Boxes

$100-Answer?
