    Hey,

I saw the same stupid show and got sucked in to thinking I had the right answer. My answer was 88 being because the cans look like they are empty, so to fill the glasses on the left the cans were poured into them and then another 4 litres came from the barrels, making 88 litres. I know its a little odd but makes sense to me.

I was completely dumbfounded when the answer revealed is 319 and now more than ever i'd like to know why, just so i know whether they are scamming people or if there really is a logical reason to why the answer is that much.

I hope someone comes up with a solution soon...did you have any theories as to how the answer could be 319?

Ah, I remember seeing this very question one random night. If I were you I wouldn't pay the slightest attention to it. These cheesy game shows are unprofessional and I wouldn't trust them with a 5 cent coin (which is, of course, the minimum amount a call can cost). They have the most far-fetched answers to the most simple questions.
It isn't lateral thinking, it's utter absurdity.

If this is like the ones we have here 5 cents won't pay for the call. A call
is 1, and while you get through and are charged, you don't get to give
an answer most of the time.

They are a scam and should be illegal.
