    Calculating SETI's search distance to date

    If SETI (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence) has beamed radio waves 100 light years into our Milky Way galaxy in all directions and the Milky Way galaxy is 100,000 light years in diameter and 1000 light years thick, what percentage of the galaxy has SETI covered?
    And if our observable universe is 14 billion light years in any given direction, what percentage would that be then?
