    Distribution Table

Does anyone know how to make a distribution table in the same style as the ones in the Cambridge Statistical Tables book? Specifically the font and how to make an a table with no grid lines.

Also, whats a good PDF creator? I've been using the free version of WinEdt but for some reason it wont let me actually create a PDF, just type out the code.

    Cheers.

I use PDFForge AKA PDFCreator. It installs itself as a printer. Which means you can compile your documents in Word or Excel, etc, and then just "print" it to a PDF. (http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator)

    It's free and open source.

Looking for a program that I type the LaTeX into and it produces a PDF for me. Got some formulas and what not to type in. WinEdt just wont work for me.

I think OpenOffice Math can do that. But I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah it does but I think typing it up with LaTeX looks way better.
Have currently just installed MiKTeX but it doesn't seem to do anything. I cant start a blank document with it... Nothing seems to be working...

This is a puzzle, if properly installed WinEdt/MikTeX/GhostView/GhostScript will do what you want.
