Thread: Create Latex PDFs

Hi, just wondering if any of you know how to create those wonderful Latex PDFs?

Not sure how to get latex installed on my PC, nevermind write documents with it?

TeXnicCenter (for Windows at least). Do a Google on TeXnicCenter, tolerate maybe some initial problems setting it up on your PC, but lots of help on the internet to help you set it up right and help you learn how to use it.

One other thing: TeXnicCenter has templates. That is, once you install it, you only have to choose "create project", select from a set of pre-defined classes like book, article, document, etc., specify where the project will be created on you disk, press enter, then a pre-formed document is created and then you just start editing it. Initially, these templates however have lots of unnecessary commands though. So you'll want to eventually create your own.
