    On what? Do you mean 'how do you use latex to show radicals'?

    Look at this code:

    [tex]\sqrt{12}=2\sqrt{3}[/tex]

    This will yield:

    \sqrt{12}=2\sqrt{3}

    Is this what you're asking?

    Hello, Amer!

    masters gave you the right information.
    Exactly what are you typing?

    You can do other roots like this:

    [tex] \sqrt[3]{8} =2 [/tex]

    . . which produces: . \sqrt[3]{8}=2
