Thread: Latex Guide

Hey just thought I'd post this as I've found it really useful during the past academic year.
Not sure how many universities do this but the one i go to has us write our reports using Latex and a program called WinEdt that produces the PDFs (WinEdt).
This guide what we were given to help us learn how to properly set up and write reports so give it a look!

For some reason i couldnt upload a PDF from my laptop, kept giving me database errors but anyway heres a version i found on the net.

does that WinEdt work ok on Vista?

Well i only downloaded the trial version and not sure if its because of that of because I'm on vista but i cant actually create PDFs with it on my laptop, have to type them up and take them to uni to finish it. I reckon though if ya get the full version it would be fine.
Saying that I'm currently downloading this Latex thing from Miktex to see if that works.
