    Wrapping latex stuff in tags.

didnt want to create a new thread to ask this so here goes:

Is there an explanation somewhere on how to wrap stuff in the math tags? I've been trying to deduce exactly how to use it by using the quote function but the syntax seems a little cryptic and hard to understand in some cases.

If you look at your tool bar you will see a \Sigma button. Highlight the latex stuff you want to wrap in tags and then click on that button.
