    laTex in email accts?

Does anyone know if its possible to use laTex in email accounts like hotmail, yahoo or gmail etc?

or is there any other alternative that can be used to display equations in email accounts?

the only other method i can think about is typing the equations elsewhere and then saving them as an image and sending it as an email attachment .... but other than this i'm sure there must exist some other easier method of typing equations so that they can be displayed properly ....

    Equations in email

Not an ideal solution (and not LaTeX, but you asked for any other alternative), but see this post on the Teaching College Math Technology Blog: Sneaking Equations into Gmail.
