Could anyone please tell me where I can get LaTeX from? I want to learn using it on my PC before starting at the forum

I got the pdf file with the commands, though I'm still looking for a site to download it from

LaTeX is built into MathHelpForum you don't need any extra software to use it here - except is is not working correctly at the moment.

If it were you would just put the code between [tex][/tex] tags.

I downloaded and installed it following the instructions. But I have a problem with viewing the file via Adobe Reader (converting it to PDF):

When I press F5 it gives: There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found'. - by Adobe Reader

and then: 'cannot execute the command' by TeXnicCenter

I don't know what's wrong with it

I'm currently using Adobe Reader 8

Has anyone experienced the same problem?
